Community Living Wallaceburg offers a variety of accommodation supports to meet an individual's needs. Supports can range from highly supervised environments to independent living arrangements. Services can be offered for short and long term periods, in group or very individualized settings.
While some people require relatively few hours per week to live independently as a contributing citizen, others may require 24 hour support. The Agency owns a number of homes and makes them available for lease to persons supported. Most individuals, however, have secured an apartment or their own residence within the community. Each person's support requirements are unique and, wherever possible, family members and friends are encouraged to participate in the caregiving.
The Agency prefers not to maintain a wait list for services. All enquiries are handled promptly. Individuals and families are assigned to a Personal Support Plan facilitator and, together, creative solutions are sought to arrange appropriate paid and unpaid supports as early as possible.
